Lifeline24’s Personal Alarm
Our personal alarm has been designed to be as simple as possible to install and to use. Once you have received your personal alarm you need to follow these instructions:
- Plug the base unit’s telephone cable into the socket labelled Line. The other end needs to be connected to your main telephone socket.
- After this you need to plug the alarm’s telephone adapter into the socket that has an image of a telephone underneath it. You can then plug your telephone’s cable into the adapter.
- Plug the Alarm’s mains adapter into the base unit socket, which is labelled as DC. The plug needs to go into the regular power socket on your wall like any other electrical device.
- Once this has been completed, you can then proceed to test your new alarm system.
Along with the base unit you will receive the MyAmie Pendent. You can wear this either around your neck or wrist. Whichever option you choose we can guarantee that you will be comfortable. The pendant is lightweight, small and stylish.
In fact, many of our customers choose to keep their pendant on when they are out and about doing their shopping or eating with their friends.
How it works
All you need to do if you suffer from a fall or any medical issue in your home is to press the red button on your pendant. This will send an alert to our 24/7 Response Team who will communicate with you over the base unit’s loudspeaker system.
After assessing your situation they will then act accordingly by contacting your emergency contacts (usually family members or neighbours). If necessary they will also contact the emergency services.
Don’t worry if you press the help button by mistake. This can be used as a test for your alarm. It is always good to hear from you and ensure that your system is working correctly.

There are two ways to order a personal alarm from Lifeline24 – Either on our easy-to-navigate website or over the phone with a member of our sales department.
Our personal alarm system is available on a monthly plan for the up-front price of €139. This will cover the cost of the first three months of the service. After this period, it will then cost €12.49 per month. A direct debit will be set-up when you purchase your personal alarm.
Inside the box you will receive the alarm base unit, MyAmie Pendant, wrist strap, neck lanyard, and belt clip. There is no need for any installation costs. It takes no more than five minutes to set up the device.
